I believed it wouldn’t be.
It turns out that it really was a big deal.
I’ve done a disservice to us both.
The truth is that I wanted it so badly.
I took what was available to me.
Knowing it wouldn’t be enough.
I thought I could condition myself—convincing that what was available to me would be enough.
Though, somewhere inside I knew it wouldn’t be.
So, I negotiated what should have never been compromised.
Now, I’m left disassociated— it’s what I tend to do best.
You cause me way too much grief.
